All attendees will learn how to maintain a set of accurate financial records, which is vital to successfully operating a business. Simply having a checking account is not enough. The objective of this workshop is to introduce the participants to the fundamental concepts of bookkeeping by providing clarification and understanding of how financial transactions are recorded and summarized in a set of financial statements. It covers the basics: chart of accounts, recording transactions, and summarizing information in a set of financial statements. (3 hours)
