Albuquerque firms give international visitors lessons in entrepreneurship

The BioScience Center had a number of foreign visitors this week from Brunei, Bulgaria, Gabon, Ireland, and Tajikistan. Traveling with the Albuquerque Council for International Visitors, these entrepreneurs were interested in learning more about incubation and acceleration of start-ups.

Mr. Ciaran Joseph Mac an Bhaird, from Ireland, said his favorite part of the trip was his visit The BioScience Center.

“Stu [Rose] gets it. He gets paid for rent, and has the lab facilities, and access to mentors,” Mac an Bhaird said. “I would like to go the way he has with bioscience. It’s very difficult to be a generalist.”
